"Hit a Dub Over Your Emotions" with Fortnite is a play-based CBT activity that is taught in a neurodivergent-affirming manner and is telehealth friendly. This activity is a PowerPoint with interactive components, and animated gifs, and is comprised of 61 slides.

 

This resource can be completed over one or multiple therapy sessions dependent on your individual client's needs.

 

Your client's goal is to "Hit a Dub" over their emotions by understanding themselves and various emotional concepts. You and the client will use Fortnite-based metaphors, analogies, and concepts to learn about the client's mental health, provide psychoeducation, and learn about various coping strategies. The activities can be adjusted and the text can be edited to meet the client's unique interests & needs. Additionally, after each concept, there is an explanation as to HOW or WHY it is beneficial.
